At present, minors will be expected to apply for an ETIAS visa waiver, just like adults.
Every country has different regulations in regards to international travel for minors. It is strongly advised to check with a nation’s requirements for children travelling alone or with only one parent or guardian. Minors should have proper documentation when travelling to Europe.
In the near future, individuals who wish to visit Europe from a visa-exempt country will be required to enroll for an ETIAS. Once approved, the travel authorization will be valid for a period of 3 consecutive years or until their passport expires, whichever comes first.
